The Problem
Most farmers in Africa practice rain-fed agriculture whose productivity is made volatile by climate change. With less than 5% irrigation of agriculture , yields have been observed to be less than 30% of the maximum attainable.
This is happening even as about 80 percent of the food in sub saharan africa is produced by smallholders, having repercussions beyond individuals.
Our Solution
